Welcome to the Course

This course offers an interdisciplinary approach to crop improvement and biotechnology. Students will be introduced to the basic components of cell and cell division towards introduction to plant breeding. The coursework enables students to identify, learn and develop concepts regarding the gene, chromosome and heredity.  Students will able to learn regarding the cell division, DNA and RNA, protein synthesis, Mendels' laws, interactions and more concepts related to crop improvement and biotechnology.
